The cabretta leather is much softer and flexible than the synthetic leathers used in less expensive golf gloves. However, the leather isn’t the most tackiest. It’s thin enough to provide adequate feedback, but I found that it was a bit “slippery” even when fully dry. There is plenty of ventilation on the palms and fingers, but the back of the hand got very sweaty and hot due to the lack of ventilation in that region. Luckily, the glove dries very quickly.
Overall: 4/5 stars, not as much traction as I’d like and the back of the hand doesn’t get adequate ventilation. The cabretta leather feels very soft and supple, and very flexible. The sizing runs slightly small to normal. I would usually opt for Medium-Large or Large, but I decided to try Medium and it was a skin-tight fit. I would say Medium-Large is a better fit for me (I can wear Medium Mechanix gloves).
